SUHYUN KIM
Topliner, lyricist, vocalist
Suhyun is a Korean singer/songwriter living in Finland. Singing has always been her ground ever since
she grew up in Seoul and later started a new chapter of life in Finland.
After she placed herself in a semi-final in The Voice of Finland, the experience from the show ignited her passion for songwriting and Suhyun was eager to learn more about it. She has studied music production at
Tampere University of applied science.
Suhyun has been working actively as a topliner/vocal producer in K-pop and J-pop for quite some time now. She was recently signed to Sugar House Publishing and is one of their most asked for topliners. Suhyun has worked with numerous talents through on/offline sessions. Sugar House music producer Karrinator has been her musical associate. Besides writing with inhouse writers at Sugar House, Suhyun has also co-written music together with other established producers and songwriters, such as Sara Forsberg, Sebastian Thott, and Auwid S to name a few.
The song “DANNA” released by Saki Misaka (Japan) in November 2021, was co-written by Suhyun and Karrinator.
The song is included on the album <I am ME>, which charted no 2 on Japan Billboard digital chart.
The OST album for the Korean tv variety and music program "Dancing Queens on the Road" was released in August 2023, including LAST KISS performed by Kim Wan Sun. LAST KISS is written by Suhyun Kim, Erik Carlfjord, Mikael Ivarsson-Soto, Isabell Forslund, Inho Je, Lee Heun Seung, and Noh Ju Hwan.
