Christian Jansson is an Åland-born, multi-platinum selling producer, songwriter and mixer. He began his musical career in 2015 in Vaasa, Finland under the mentorship of Janne Hyöty, a million-selling producer and co-owner of Sugar House Publishing. Under Janne’s tutelage Jansson began working and focusing on honing his skills, knowledge and understanding of the Asian pop scene, primarily the Japanese and Korean markets, and ever since, his quest for hook-laden, bass heavy and beat-driven electronic dance and pop music in all its forms, shapes and sizes has led to a growing list of releases all over Asia.

In 2018, Christian took his first steps into the Asian pop scene by co-writing and producing the song ”Don’t Let Go” by Chinese artist Si Wai Ge, and soon thereafter he got the chance to work with Chinese supergroup Nine Percent on their single ”I Need A Doctor”, a song which he co-wrote, produced and mixed. The single topped the Billboard China Weibo Chart and reached the #3 spot on China Billboard V, and eventually went on to be included on the boy groups’ debut full-length album ”To The Nines” that won the award for ”Best Selling Album 2018” at the Migu Music Awards with sales numbers eclipsing 1.2 million units worldwide.

In 2019, Christian co-wrote vocal phenomenon Dimash Kudaibergen’s single ”Lay Down”, found on his Chinese debut album ”iD”, released in June that year. Both the single and the album went on to hit the #1 spot on the QQ platform chart, and getting awarded platinum status within hours after release.

Later that same year, Japanese boy group Kis-My-Ft2 released their Billboard Japan-topping hit single ”HANDS UP”, a song co-written and produced by Christian. The song also got included on the groups’ following, gold-selling full-length album ”To-y2”, released in March 2020, as well as their Platinum awarded 10th Anniversary collection "BEST of Kis-My-Ft2" in August 2021. The album charted as #8 on the World Album top albums of the year 2021. 

In April 2022, Ren Meguro and Raul from the famous Japanese boy band Snow Man included "BREEZER", a song co-written and produced by Christian, in their amazing stage show Takizawa Kabuki ZERO 2022.

Closer to home soil he has worked with Estonian superstar Laura Põldvere, co-writing, producing and/or mixing four songs (”Don’t die with the music in you”, ”Mr. Deep”, ”Koos” and ”On meie aeg”) on her album ”9 elu”. Domestically in Finland, Christian has worked with names such as producer/DJ duo Lope & Kantola on their 2017 tune ”Sin City”, as well as artists such as Emeline Sigfrids, ALEXO and Tinja Sabel among others.
