ann slangar aka náni

 Ann Slangar aka Náni,  is the co-owner, founder  and CEO of Sugar House Publishing.  She has a long experience in the music business from running a label, studio and management and starting Sugar House Publishing in 2004. 

Ann received the Finnish Music Publishers Association's Music Export Award in 2021 for the international achievements of the publishing company, as well as for her work in developing the music publishing  business in Finland. Ann is also a teacher in Music Business at Lafo Songwriters Academy in co-operation with Novia UAS.

Náni is a vocalist and songwriter in different genres of music. She was a part of the rock group Ann & Pia & The Rockteam and the pop-soul-rock group Ann Dee & Pia Kay, who released the album “Woman Inside” and the EP “Woman Inside of Me”. Náni released her solo album "You and I" in 2003. She has been singing in Nonen Vocals for 15 years. The vocal group is known for their fun and vocally demanding shows. 

Náni co-wrote the song "I'm coming home", that was released in Japan by the Universal Japan artist 

Ayaka Hirahara in 2015. Náni is a topliner and also writes lyrics in English, Swedish and Finnish.
