Emily Frost is a half-Finnish and half-British singer-songwriter and producer from Helsinki, Finland, who has been active in the music field since 2017. She has studied songwriting and music production at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and has a background in classical piano. She specializes in catchy melodies and fun and modern pop productions. She was involved in the songwriting course "Top 20 - Future Hitmakers" organized by Teosto and Music Finland back in 2018 and in 2019 she flew to the Netherlands to participate the International Writer's Camp, where her group won the third prize with their song.
Emily releases music under her own name and has enjoyed some success as an indie artist. The major Finnish radio station YleX has described her music as "playful and modern music with an R&B twist" and her songs have been on some of the biggest Spotify playlists in Finland, Sweden, and Iceland. Emily also plays electric guitar and sings in an alternative rock band SKYCRY and is responsible of the songwriting in the band.
Emily has always been interested of the Asian culture and was thrilled to sign a publishing deal
with Sugar House Publishing in 2020.
